- Oversee the inventory, packout, cleaning, vaulting, wrapping, staging, and pack back of contents while ensuring activities meet quality standards
- Serve as the point of contact for clients and insurers while reporting to General Managers
- Responsible for maintaining our job site safety program and training of new hires
- Correctly wrap, package and inventory contents according to standard operating procedures to prevent damage during transport
- Load and transport contents to our facility for cleaning and storage
- Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable condition
- Adhere to appearance guidelines while serving as the company's representative at job locations
- Must be available to work a Monday through Friday schedule and occasionally after hours and weekends
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices
- Ability to properly identify proper product usage and disposal requirements for packing activity as outlined in standard operating procedures and training
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle per Blue Kangaroo Packoutz’s vehicle policy
- Must be able to pass a background and drug test
- Clean three year driving history (CDL not required)
- Maintain a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Possess a genuine desire to help others during difficult life events
- Skilled trade, restoration, moving, clearing or insurance industry experience is preferred
- Bilingual candidates and individuals with forklift operating experience are also desired
- Demonstrated abilities planning and managing multiple projects. Candidate should also possess problem analysis and problem resolution abilities
- Strong decision making, negotiating and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable utilizing technology and digital devices as part of regular job responsibilities
- Must be able to ride and/or operate a motor vehicle on a daily basis for extended periods of time
- Ability to frequent lift an excess of 50 lbs or more and maintain mobility in tight spaces while working indoors and outdoors in a variety of climates
- Climb in and out of vehicles and stairs
- Frequently operates forklifts, power tools and hand tools
- Continuously sits, walks, bends, crouches, kneels, climbs, lifts (occasionally above shoulder)
