Responsibilities:
- Ensure that inventory software is properly utilized for tracking the transfer and storage of all contents
- During the packout
- On-site point of contact for the customer (policy holder)
- Capturing an accurate inventory of contents
- Properly documenting all aspects of the packout
- Ensuring contents, including furniture, valuable and delicate items, are properly protected, labeled, and inventoried for transfer to warehouse
- At the warehouse
- Oversee contents cleaning, deodorizing, drying, and restoration
- Ensure proper tracking and storing of contents in vaults
- Work with the estimator to develop accurate and timely estimates
- Track usage of packing and cleaning supplies and ensure a proper inventory is maintained
- Ensure that all work is completed in accordance the schedule and with company standards
Qualifications:
- A desire to serve your community and be a team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A willingness to work in challenging conditions (like in a home that has had a fire)
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Are caring, patient, and compassionate. Have a genuine desire to make a difference in your client’s lives
- 2+ years of experience in contents restoration is a plus
- Familiarity with iCat inventory software a plus
